Sanan Shakharli,who was put on the international wanted list on charges of fraud with the appropriation of someone else's property through abuse of trust and deception (Article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic), was detained in the Republic of Colombia, Ednews reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Justice.
The Ministry sent a corresponding request for the extradition of the mentioned person to Azerbaijan, held negotiations with the Colombian authorities and provided all the necessary guarantees in accordance with international procedures; in this matter, the necessary support was provided from Azerbaijan's diplomatic corps.
