Billionaire Elon Musk said on Monday during his discussion on artificial intelligence with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President and Co-founder of OpenAI Greg Brockman, that X, formerly known as Twitter, is planning to introduce lower-tier pricing for premium users.
The premium subscription offers a blue checkmark to customers, while also giving them early access to select features, such as Edit post. The service is currently priced at $8 per month or $84 per year.
Musk also talked about the risks of AI, noting that it could become an existential threat and adding that it must be dealt with in a way that will allow it to have a positive future.
