Today, Mehmet Altıntash, the responsible staff member of the Humanitarian Diplomacy Department of the Turkish IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, and Hamza Nedimoghlu, the representative of the Central Asia and Caucasus Bureau, had a visit at the International Eurasia Press Fund.
Ednews reports that the president of IEPF, Umud Mirzayev, welcomed the guests at the IEPF's Baku office. He first introduced the guests to the office and informed them about the activities and projects implemented by the IEPF, the non-governmental organization with an international status, which has been founded during the difficult period of time in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Umud Mirzayev also spoke about the organization's participation in a number of important projects related to the mine issues. He also spoke about team activity in the process of demining in the territories of Karabakh liberated from occupation, includin the former contact lines and a number of villages and towns.
Furthermore, discussions were held regarding the prospects of future cooperation between the two organizations that have been working in the humanitarian field for many years. It should be noted that the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation carries out its mission by helping people suffering from war, natural disasters and poverty in different countries of the world. In recent years, they have been expanding their activities in Azerbaijan by signing sustainable projects.
