Today, Ventzeslav Sabev, Deputy General Secretary of the Geneva Geostrategic Observatory, Vice President of the Geneva Spiritual Association, was a guest at the International Eurasia Press Fund.

Ednews informs that the president of the institution, Umud Mirzayev, received the official of the Geneva Geostrategic Observatory at the head office of BAMF. First of all, U. Mirzayev told the guest about the history of BAMF and the work done in 30 years.

Ventzeslav Sabev thanked Umud Mirzayev for this meeting:

"I have no doubt that this meeting will be a really productive meeting. Because the fact that your organization is still standing is a very interesting issue. Whether it is Eastern, Western Europe, or Asia, I have met NGOs engaged in various types of activities everywhere. Theexistence of those organizations was at least 10 years, after which they all stopped their activities for various reasons. But your organization has been operating for 30 years and you are doing quite interesting and creative works."

U. Mirzayev, in turn, spoke about the need for objective information in the early 90s in Azerbaijan, including the Caucasus and post-Soviet regions, regarding the creation of the organization.

"It was a very difficult time at those years. People lived in very difficult conditions. Some of the refugees and IDPs wanted their voice to be heard through us, and some of them wanted to have a small shelter to live in. They needed even a piece of bread. The fact that people turned to us in desperation became the reason for us to create this kind of organization."

While talking the reasons for the creation of the organization, the head of the IEPF also mentioned the need to create such organizations in the post-Soviet space in order to accurately communicate the events in the country to the all over the world.

At the meeting, the joint activities of IEPF and the Geneva Geostrategic Observatory and prospects of future partnership were discussed. The guest also noted that he is very hopeful for future partnership.

At the end, they posed together for photographs.
