On March 17, the EORE team of the International Eurasia Press Fund held "Explosive Ordnance Risk Education" (EORE) training for first residents resettled in the liberated Talish village of the Tartar district within the program of Great Return.
Ednews informs that the training took place within the framework of the project "Education on the Danger of Explosive Ordnance in IDP Communities in Fuzuli, Aghjabedi, Beylagan, Aghdam, Tarter and Barda" carried out by IEPF with the support of the The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Azerbaijan's Mine Action Agency (ANAMA).
In the training, it was given important information about mines, their types, safety rules related to explosive and unexploded ordnance, rules of conduct for people during the Great Return, what to do when they encounter mines and unexploded ordnance, and the questions of the participants were answered.
Educational booklets, posters and other materials were distributed to the participants at the event, which was attended by 39 Talish residents.
