Heidi Thomas Kuhn, the founder and head of the international humanitarian organization "Roots of Peace", who is on a visit to the liberated territories, was introduced to the demining area in Horadiz village of Fuzuli district.
According to EDnews, the guest was informed about the level of land contamination with mines and unexploded ordnance, demining operations, and the types of mines found.
It was noted that 53 Armenian-made PMNs, 208 Russian-made "TM-62" anti-tank mines, and 2 unexploded military munitions have been found in Horadiz territory so far: "Currently, the area is being cleaned up. "During the operations, various types of mines are found every day."
