"International organizations and communities are informed about the current problems of Azerbaijan. The International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) addressed to the UN Human Rights Council regarding Armenia's refusal to hand over landmine maps. We started a petition in this regard and 25,000 votes were cast."
Ednews reports that the President of the International Eurasia Press Fund, Umud Mirzayev, said this in AzTv's "Towards the Exit" program.
"Armenia provided some maps, but none of them are accurate. This shows that the Armenian character cannot be trusted. Their aim is to terrorize the people of Azerbaijan. We have won our righteous war, now our enemies are underground. Establishment of the checkpoint in Lachin is a clear example of this. We have to be patient for other problems."
According to the head of the fund, there are powers with certain interests in the region. The government and army of Azerbaijan found strength in themselves and liberated their lands. We must continue to rely on our own power.
"We spoke loudly in New York and Geneva about the painful issues of Azerbaijan and warned the international community about the resolution of Karabakh. Azerbaijan should act in its own interest. Our army settled the war in the trenches. We have to work day and night with our media and civil societies. We should always keep this issue on the agenda. This is a problem all of us. We must take the initiative and act.
