"In the documentary film Deportation - through the eyes of witnesses, it is possible to see the landscape of Western Azerbaijan and feel the tragedy that happened to us in the history of deportation. Everyone who speaks in the film tells his life story."
Ednews reports that Umud Mirzayev, president of the International Eurasian Press Foundation, said these words during his speech at the presentation ceremony of the "Virtual Museum of the Deportation of West Azerbaijanis".
"In the future, it is planned to continue the project in English, Russian and other languages. We think that in the future it will play an important role in bringing the deportation of West Azerbaijanis to the international world. It is even planned to use the Armenian language within the project."
It should be noted that the main goal of the project is to introduce the genocide and crimes suffered by Western Azerbaijanis as a result of the deportation policy at the international level through the Virtual Museum and to show the pain they experienced by broadcasting their impressive life stories. Also, publicizing these crimes at the international level will strengthen the basis for restoring the rights of those people. Next the goal is to involve more participants in interviews, increase the number of collected materials and establish mutual relations with other virtual museums.
