Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) released information about the mine explosion in Aghdam, ANAMA's Press Service told Ednews.
On December 5, 2023, an anti-personnel mine explosion occurred in the area of Sarıjali village of Agdam district, which was liberated from occupation, while the employee of the Agency, Akbarov Vagif Sabir, born in 1992, was performing his duty.
The injured person was evacuated from the incident scene and taken to the district hospital. The injured person's right leg was amputated below the knee. His condition is satisfactory.
