Baku workshop blast death toll rises to 10

As reported, a criminal case has been opened and an investigation is underway in accordance with the relevant articles of the Criminal Code at the Department of Criminalistics and Information Technologies of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the explosion that happened in a furniture workshop in the Binagadi district of Baku that resulted in the deaths of 9 people and injured 24 people with various degree, the Prosecutor General's Office stated, Ednews reports.
"We regretfully inform that today at around 14:00 one of the injured - Rustamov Adil Aydin (1996) died in the hospital where he was treated despite the medical assistance provided, and thus the number of those who lost their lives as a result of the incident has reached 10. Currently, the treatment of other injured persons continues with the provision of necessary medical assistance.
