UEFA opened a disciplinary case against the Football Federation of Armenia.
Ednews reports referring to the official website of the European football organization that this was caused by the events that took place in the Armenia-Croatia game in Yerevan within the framework of the EURO-2024 qualifying round.
The institution is accused of closing public passages in the stadium and sending political and provocative messages during the match.
In addition, the fans used protective equipment in the said match and the match started later than the scheduled time. Therefore, the head coach of the Armenian national team, Alexander Petrakov, can be punished.
It should be noted that the Armenians raised the "flag" of the so-called regime with a drone in the mentioned encounter. The game ended with a 1:0 victory for the Croatian national team.
