Famous mixed martial artist Khabib Nurmagomedov has had his property seized by bailiffs, according to reports from the Mash Telegram channel. The list of seized assets reportedly includes a family home in Dagestan and a collection of luxury vehicles such as a Ferrari California T, Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7-series, Toyota Land Cruiser, and Toyota Tacoma, Ednews informs.
This action follows the Federal Tax Service's closure of several companies owned by Nurmagomedov, including Hikmet Travel LLC, which operated in the tourism sector. The closures were due to "inaccurate information in official documents." Additionally, Mash claims that not only were Nurmagomedov's personal accounts blocked, but also those of his charitable foundation.
In a related development, Dagestan security forces were reportedly seeking Nurmagomedov during investigative actions following terrorist attacks in the region. Authorities wanted to question the athlete regarding the identity of Gadzhimurad Kagirov, a participant in the terrorist attack.
Former State Duma deputy Sergei Markov has accused Nurmagomedov of having ties to the attack, alleging that the athlete and his martial arts schools were involved in "training terrorists" and attributing a "radical Islamic position" to him.
Nurmagomedov has denied these accusations, condemning the attack in Dagestan as a "brutal and inhuman act." He expressed his disbelief at the accusations and emphasized that it is clear that killing people is a crime, stating that there should be no need for him to be specially convicted for something so evident.
