Spain booked their place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final with a convincing 2-0 victory over France in Tuesday's semifinal at Dallas Stadium.
Spain took the lead in the first half through Mikel Oyarzabal, who converted a penalty after Lamine Yamal was fouled in the box. The European champions doubled their advantage in the second half when Pedro Porro finished off a well-worked move to put the match beyond France's reach.
The win sends Spain into the World Cup final for the first time since lifting the trophy in 2010. They will face the winner of the other semifinal between England and Argentina in Sunday's championship match. France, meanwhile, will play in the third-place playoff.
Spain extended its impressive unbeaten run with another disciplined display, combining defensive solidity with clinical finishing to eliminate one of the tournament favorites and move one step closer to a second World Cup title.
