Following effective political cooperation, now is the time to develop economic ties with the EU and the US, including trade and freedom of movement of citizens, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said before the start of a trilateral meeting with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Ednews informs via Armenian media.
“We intend to develop the competitiveness of the private sector in Armenia so that it can enter new markets, and we are ready to make the investment climate more attractive for European and American companies. We expect assistance in modernizing infrastructure for the quality of goods and services, in strengthening ties between [Armenian and Western] business circles and in finding new patterns for the development of trade,” Pashinyan said.
