Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a draft Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement with North Korea proposed by the Foreign Ministry, a presidential decree issued on Tuesday showed, Ednews informs.
"We consider it appropriate to sign the agreement provided for by this order at the highest level," the decree stated.
Putin is set to sign the agreement during his visit to Pyongyang, where he will meet the country's leader Kim Jong-un. The trip will mark Putin's first visit to North Korea since 2000.
