Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov said that "According to the information I have, the Federation Council will officially announce the start of the presidential election campaign on December 13."
According to the election legislation, presidential elections in the Russian Federation should be held in mid-March 2024.
We are getting closer to the Russian elections day by day. But will the West try to overthrow Putin? Is there a threat of revolution in Russia or will there be peaceful elections? By the way, in the document signed by the Russian leader, he authorized the Central Election Commission to postpone the elections. This means that there may not be an election next year.
In his statement to Ednews, Russian expert Vitaly Arkov said that there is no official news about this yet and that he is not a rival to Putin in Russia:
"Presidential elections in Russia have not been officially announced yet. This year is the 30th anniversary of the Russian Constitution, and I would not rule out that an important decision will occur on December 12, 2023. The presidential elections in Russia are most likely to be scheduled, candidates are identified, and the situation in the country is monitored. A number of events in the Kremlin are behind the scenes and are not disclosed to the public. Indeed, the vast majority of Russian citizens realize that there is no one comparable to Vladimir Putin in the political arena today. Yes, there are brilliant politicians, powerful government leaders, but most of them are like the "Moon", whose brightness is not due to its own brilliance, but to the reflection of light from the Sun. This is true in modern Russian politics as well."
The expert believes that the West cannot do anything against Putin, and the sanctions they are trying to impose are an example of this.
"We are currently facing a "Collective West" at an unprecedented level. There is a stark difference between the West and the Cold War. One of the West's goals is to change Russia's leadership in a direction beneficial to the United States and its satellites. But this seems practically impossible. Vladimir Putin already sees and understands that he is getting old. Therefore, he will leave his post in good hands to establish his political course in Russia. Putin is now the universal leader of Russia. His people will always support him. Do not think of the average Russian people as naive and uninformed. They see what the West wants to do to this country.
The plans of the US and its minions to blockade and defeat Russia were a complete fiasco. Russia is not isolated. On the contrary, Russia is at the forefront, it is one of the leaders of the majority in favor of the restart of globalism on the basis of justice, a multipolar world, a society of equal opportunities.
