It is noted that the document clarifies the framework for cooperation between NATO and these countries, which will allow them to respond to threats, including cybersecurity and disinformation.

"NATO wants to strengthen ties with the Indo-Pacific region in response to growing security threats from China and Russia. The four non-NATO countries are already partners of the Alliance, and the document, which is expected to set out the relationship between NATO and the IP4 (the name of the alliance of these 4 countries)," the publication adds.
