Johnny Depp attended the UK premiere of his new movie Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald in Leicester Square last night.

The 55-year-old actor joined the stars of the latest film in JK Rowling’s Harry Potter franchise at the UK premiere.

He plays Gellert Grindelwald in the second installment of Fantastic Beasts which delves into the early life of Hogwarts headteacher Albus Dumbledore, played by Jude Law, 45.

The American movie star and musician looked happy and healthy at the eagerly-anticipated event.

He wore an all-black outfit comprising of a black shirt and trousers with a velvet patterned suit jacket.

Wearing a handkerchief next to his left lapel, the actor added five silver chains with pendants to his gothic inspired attire.

Sweeping his dark hair away from his face, the Pirates of the Caribbean star wore three diamond earrings in one ear and a single earring in the other.

Also at the premiere was Eddie Redmayne, 36, who plays magic zoologist Newt Scamander.

The Theory of Everything actor was pictured in a dapper maroon suit with his wife Hannah Bagshawe.
