On April 4, the President of the International Eurasia Press Fund, Umud Mirzayev, visited the Aghdam Mechanical Irrigation Department on the International Mine Warning and Mine Action Day.

Ednews informs that Hafiz Azimzade, head of the Aghdam Mechanical Irrigation Department, welcomed U. Mirzayev. 

The head of the fund spoke about the landmine problems in our country:

"Our country ranks among the top ten in the world for contamination by mines and unexploded ordnance. Together with representatives of civil society, we are doing our best and will continue to do so. Because after many years, a large migration of our internally displaced persons to the lands liberated from the Armenian occupation has begun. This problem is also a serious issue for our country."

Later, they talked about the restoration and reconstruction process and activities in our lands freed from occupation.

In addition, there were speakers from the women's minesweeper team of IEPF. They educated citizens about the problem of landmines and gave information.
