Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev slammed the West on Tuesday, saying that its position on nuclear weapons is "endlessly hypocritical."
Ednews reports citing Urdupint that replying to The Group of Seven's (G7) statement demanding nuclear security guarantees from Moscow, Medvedev said that Western countries in fact "hint at a future nuclear conflict between our country [Russia] and NATO."
Medvedev also condemned the United States for committing a crime by using nuclear weapons against Japan, which US Secretary of State Antony Blinken failed to mention during his today's visit to Hiroshima.
