US Secretary of Defense discussed NATO membership with Swedish PM

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III met with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Lloyd Austin wrote on his Twitter, Ednews reports.

The meeting took place within the framework of Secretary of Defense Austin's visit to Sweden.

"Sweden has long been one of our strongest defense partners. We will look forward to welcoming you soon as a NATO ally," Lloyd Austin wrote.
