Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin stated on Saturday that the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has not taken any concrete steps towards launching arbitration against the United States, Ednews reports citing Teletrader.
Russia has been demanding this procedure for a long time and will continue to do so, according to the minister. Vershinin claimed that Washington is violating its obligations as a host country by not providing visas and fulfilling the requirements that arise in connection with holding international events at the UN site.
According to Vershinin, the absence of concrete actions by Guterres is "unacceptable" as it allegedly impedes international contacts within the framework of the UN.
