Japan is negotiating to open NATO's first office in Asia.
EDnews reports that this was said by Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi.
"Russia's aggression against Ukraine has weakened the stability of the world. What is happening in Eastern Europe is not limited to the problem there, and it directly affects the situation in the Pacific. Therefore, our cooperation with NATO in East Asia becomes even more important," said the minister.
