Belgium will open embassies in Armenia and Moldova.
EDnews reports that Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib signed a decision on this.
"Moldova is a neutral country, but it has a partnership program with NATO and wants to strengthen the Euro-Atlantic partnership. In addition, the republic has a frozen conflict in Transnistria, which is under Russian influence. All this dictates the need for more active work in the country. As for Armenia, the geopolitical processes taking place here require immediate attention," the decision reads.
