The leaders agreed to continue bilateral meetings on border issues, said Charles Michel, the President of the Council of the European Union, after the tripartite meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels, EDnews reports.
Michel noted that both leaders confirmed their unequivocal commitment to the 1991 Almaty Declaration and their respect for the territorial integrity of Armenia's 29,800 square kilometers and Azerbaijan's 86,600 square kilometers.
"The final delimitation of the borders will be determined through negotiations," added Michel.
