A magnitude 6 earthquake hit the island nation of Tonga, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said. The earthquake struck around 127 km west of Tonga's second-largest town of Neiafu, EDnews informs via Teletrader.
According to USGS information, the earthquake was at a depth of 223.9 km. There are no reports of casualties or damage, and exposure to landslides is limited.
