The Russian Foreign Ministry declared on Wednesday that Germany's "provocative and unreflective" actions against Russia will not go unanswered, Ednews informs via foreign media.
The statement refers to the decision of the German authorities to close the Russian consulates general in Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, and Frankfurt am Main by December 31, 2023.
"Once again, we call on the German authorities to stop. It is clear that Berlin is losing its way in the heat of a hostile policy," the ministry said while adding that "all responsibility for the degradation of bilateral relations lies on the German side."
