Swearing-in ceremony of newly elected deputies is held in Türkiye

The swearing-in ceremony of Member of Parliaments (MPs) elected to the Grand National Assembly as a result of parliamentary elections held in Türkiye on May 14 is taking place, Ednews reports.
 
The official first session of the newly convened Assembly is chaired by the temporarily appointed Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) chairman Devlet Bahçeli.
 
Note that the 28th convocation in the parliament, which started a new era with this ceremony, received 268 votes from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), 50 from the MHP, 5 from the New Welfare Party (Yeni Refah Party), 169 from the Republican People's Party (CHP), 43 from the Good Party (IYI Party), A total of 600 deputies took place, including 61 from the Green Left Party and 4 from the Workers' Party of Türkiye.
