Judges slam Russia over Navalny poisoning probe failings

European human rights judges have condemned Russia for not properly investigating the 2020 poisoning of opposition figure Alexei Navalny.

Ednews informs via foreign media that the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on Tuesday unanimously ruled that Russia had "notably" failed to investigate the poisoning of anti-corruption campaigner Alexei Navalny.

The opposition figure, who was lauded as a potential political rival of President Vladimir Putin, was placed on life support after the 2020 poisoning.
