Former President Donald Trump declared Friday in response to the latest indictment against him that there was no crime while slamming Special Counsel Jack Smith, Ednews reports.
"There was no crime, except for what the DOJ and FBI have been doing against me for years," said Trump on Truth Social. "Nobody said I wasn't allowed to look at the personal records that I brought with me from the White House. There's nothing wrong with that..." Trump concluded.
Earlier, it was learned that the ex-president had been charged with 37 counts following a probe led by Smith into Trump's handling of official government documents.
