The United States Department of State approved the sale of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS) and related equipment to Poland.
The cost of the package is valued at $15 billion and it will include 48 Patriot M903 launch stations and up to 644 Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC) 3 Missile Segment Enhanced (MSE) missiles, among other items.
The principal contractors will be Raytheon Corporation and Lockheed-Martin Missiles and Fire Control, according to the State Department.
