Magnitude 5.8 earthquake hits Chile

A magnitude 5.8 earthquake rocked Chile on Wednesday, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), Ednews informs via TASS.

The epicenter was located some 204 kilometers southeast of the city of Calama, which has a population of around 143,000.

No casualties or damage were reported.
