Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov condemned the return of five Ukrainian commanders from Turkey, deeming the move a "direct violation" of the prisoner exchange agreement brokered by Ankara.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, Peskov claimed that the return of these commanders to Ukraine constitutes a breach of the existing agreements, with both the Ukrainian and Turkish sides implicated in the violation.
His comments come after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the commanders will be returning home despite being required to stay in Turkey until the conflict ends.
