The State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus said on Thursday that the Lithuanian border guard service violated the country's border.
"An official car of the State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania drove into the territory of the Republic of Belarus at a distance of up to five meters, turned around and returned to the Republic of Lithuania," the committee stated on Telegram.
This is the second time in less than a month that Minsk is accusing Vilnius of violating its border, after the first incident took place on July 13, when Belarus claimed that an armed Lithuanian border guard violated the border from Lithuania to Belarus during the registration of citizens at the Medininkai checkpoint.
