"On September 29, 2023, on a conference themed around “the role of public diplomacy in Turkish foreign policy” jointly hosted by USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and Yunus Emre Institute at the University of Southern California, participating officials were targeted by radical Armenian groups and were subjected to verbal and physical assault," Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye said, Ednews reports.
"The radical diaspora groups targeting our country and Azerbaijan, and lately the hate speech targeting the Armenian government and the peace process in the region, have turned into acts of violence, and this creates concern. We will initiate appropriate legal action against those who attacked our delegation," said the Ministry.
