The Biden administration is inclined to support the recently passed short-term funding passed by the House of Representatives, according to a White House official who spoke with CNN.
Several reasons are cited for this inclination, including the fact that the bill maintains government operations, incorporates disaster relief, and authorizes the FAA.
Previously, the White House had endorsed an agreement that included $6.2 billion in funding for Ukraine, which was removed from the bill after House Republicans demanded it.
