A passenger bus traveling from Izmir to Mersin veered off the road and crashed into a vineyard in Türkiye, Ednews reports citing NTV.
The cause of the accident was the bus driver losing control. It is reported that there were 29 people on the bus during the accident, with 15 of them sustaining injuries.
Medical assistance, rescue teams, and the police were dispatched to the scene.
The 12 injured passengers were safely evacuated from the bus and transported to hospitals. Three passengers, one of whom was pregnant, were trapped in the vehicle and were eventually rescued after extensive efforts by the firefighters.
It is reported that the condition of the injured individuals taken to the hospitals in Manisa is stable.
