"I am sure we will achieve our goals in Ukraine," Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday during a Q&A session at the annual Valdai meeting in Sochi.
Commenting on the situation on the battlefield, Putin claimed that since the beginning of the Ukrainian offensive, Kiev had lost over 90,000 people and more than 1,900 armored vehicles.
"We understand what we need to do, where we need to add things, and we are confidently moving towards achieving our goals," Putin said.
