Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky conveyed his country's support for Israel to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an "emergency telephone conversation" on Sunday.
"We stand in solidarity with Israel, which is suffering from a brazen large-scale attack and we sympathize with the numerous victims," the Ukrainian president stated.
Zelensky also mentioned that the two deliberated on the situation in Israel and talked about strategies to counteract the Hamas attack, as well as the broader implications of these actions on regional and global security.
