President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appealed to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye to extend the term of participation of the Turkish Armed Forces in the operations and missions of the United Nations in Africa for one more year from October 31, TRT Haber said, Ednews reports.
The presented bill draws attention to the stability in the African region: “Our country's military contribution to solving humanitarian and political crises that threaten regional stability and peace in Africa is a natural continuation of our active role. This is the foreign policy we follow in the region and the African continent in general.”
