Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu revealed on Wednesday at a meeting that the borders in the western part of the country will be strengthened.
The decision was made in response to the continuing military aid Ukraine has been receiving from the United States and other Western allies, including high-precision missiles and the upcoming transfer of F-16 fighter jets, according to Shoygu.
"The situation along the perimeter of the borders of the Union State has sharply worsened due to the openly hostile activities of NATO [North Atlantic Treaty Organization]," Shoygu remarked.
