Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian described on Thursday the situation in the Middle East as a "powder keg" and called for ending what he described as war crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
"I would like to announce once again loudly from Jeddah that time is running out, and if the warmongers think that they can remove the resistance and Hamas from Gaza, they are mistaken," Amir-Abdollahian warned while talking to the press before leaving Saudi Arabia.
Various parties accused Iran of backing Hamas and the organization's attack on Israel, including that country itself. Israel also blamed it for supporting Hezbollah's attacks. Iran rejected the allegations.
