"Ethnic hatred calls of Armenia are continued today at the state level," Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Elnur Mammadov said during his speech at the presentation ceremony of the report "Hate crimes against Azerbaijanis and hate speech", Ednews reports.
According to him, one can find racist opinions voiced by the officials of the Armenian government at different times: "Unfortunately, those ideas are still spreading today. The activities of those who called for violence against Azerbaijanis were neither banned nor punished. On the contrary, they were supported by the Armenian government. However, in Armenian legislation, those who chant such slogans can be brought to justice. But Armenia's "freedom of speech" was given to opinions."
