Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian suggested on Tuesday that the chances of stopping a war against Israel and the possibility of further escalation were fading.
"We need to use the last political opportunities to stop the war," the minister told Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani as quoted by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the same time, he also mentioned that his country sees a gradual "increase in reactions, escalation, and expansion" of the conflicts in the Middle East.
"We are going to stop the war, and if things get out of control, no side will be safe from the consequences," he added.
