Russia asked Egypt, Belarus, Brazil, and Pakistan to return some of the army equipment it sold to them to replenish its own supplies amid the ongoing operation in Ukraine, Ednews reports citing The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
"Russia spent decades building its arms trade," the source said. "Now they're going back in secret to their customers trying to buy back what they sold them."
Earlier, it was reported Russia made such a plea to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who agreed. As a result, Egypt will deliver about 150 helicopter engines back to Russia.
