Representatives of the Polish opposition parties signed the coalition agreement in the parliament, Polish state television reported on Friday. The parties include the Civic Coalition party, the New Left, and the Third Way.
Donald Tusk, the leader of the Civic Coalition party said: "Things are moving in the right direction, and regardless of the decisions that are in the hands of President Andrzej Duda, we are ready to take responsibility for our homeland in the coming years."
Earlier this week, the country's president, Andrzej Duda, decided to place the mission of forming a government on current Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
