Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Sunday called on Islamic countries to sever political ties with Israel until the country ceases to attack the Gaza Strip, Ednews reports referring to the Tasnim news agency.
"Islamic countries must at least temporarily cease any political relations with the Zionist regime," Khamenei was cited as saying.
The Ayatollah previously advocated for a halt in food and oil exports to Israel amid its attacks on Gaza.
