Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu exclaimed on Tuesday that missiles have proven to be a "highly effective" weapon in Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine.
"More than 270 missile strikes have been carried out, [and] over 330 targets have been hit," Shoygu said during a board meeting, adding that the supply of these armaments has "more than tripled."
Meanwhile, talking about Ukrainian soldiers, the minister claimed many have surrendered after "realizing the pointlessness of attempts to break through our defenses."
