China will hold a United Nations Security Council meeting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Ednews reports via The Indian Times that Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said.
"China, which holds the presidency of the UN Security Council this month, will host a high-level meeting of the UN Security Council on the Palestinian-Israeli issue on November 29," the diplomat stated. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will chair the meeting.
The event will be held immediately after a four-day truce agreed by both sides in the conflict that has seen the release of hostages and prisoners over the weekend.
