Iranian Deputy Defense Minister Sardar Farhi told Tasnim on Tuesday that arrangements for the shipment of Russian-made fighter jets to Iran have been finalized.
The Sukhoi SU-35 combat aircraft, alongside the Mi-28 attack helicopters and Yak-130 training aircraft, which will all be delivered, are all intended to help Tehran boost its defense capabilities, according to the deputy minister.
"Last year, the defense innovation system was announced by the Minister of Defense and [it] was very effective, but it does not mean that we have reached the highest technology in all areas," Farhi commented.
